Today was crazy at school and I stayed late to finish up some things so that tomorrow is an easy day.

That sentence does not do my day justice... Today was the last day for students - I got a call during my first class asking me if I would bring my class down to watch the spring play (I had no idea we even had a spring play) so I went with my class. My next class joined us and then while we were heading back to our room to wait for lunch - the 6th grade lunch erupted into a food fight! fun times... from what I heard, they wanted to end the year with a "bang." Our principal later stated, "and they will start out next year with a thud!" Anyways, the rest of the day went downhill from there, ending in a (planned) fire drill to get the kids out of the building and onto their buses without delay. All of this in 105 degree heat!!! fun times...

Then I had to pack up my books and haul them to other side of campus to store them in our book room for the summer - again, in today's weather.

On my way home, I picked up some chairs for our patio, at my mom's insistence and on her dime :). After about 20 minutes of flipping them around and picking them up and re-stacking them, I discovered they would not fit in my car - I didn't bring rope with me to tie down my trunk so I had to use shoelaces from a pair of sneakers I happened to have in my car. Once again - in sweltering heat.

When I finally got home and cleaned up, my roommates and I went out and got margaritas - they were well deserved :)

wow, its been a while.

I have been borrowing my cousins computer for the past few months because my old computer is not so great with wireless and didn't have much in the way of memory. It also has some electrical tape holding the screen together. I figured since I finally make money and got a decent tax return, I bought myself a Mac!

I am soo in love.

I miss xanga, but not sure that I am going to have time to keep this up... only time will tell!

its been a while..

School is hectic - I need a break from 7th graders, thankfully I'm heading home next week!!

I have been baking cookies for three straight days for this cookie exchange at school - not sure it is going to be worth it.  Cookies are great, but when you "have" to make them, they aren't so much fun to make anymore.

Christmas is approaching quickly, almost done with shopping. This year, things are going to be very different though.  My parents and sister are going to Colorado for Christmas, so I'm going home to an empty house for a few days.  I'll be with Dave and his wife and her family on Christmas day, but it won't be the same.  Also, there is a good chance my mom will be staying in Colorado to help out with Jason and the new baby so I probably won't get to see her at all.  :(

I'm exhausted.

All I want to do is sleep.
